well the thing is now I can select a standard camera and convert it to Fstorm, and create an Fstorm camera from view with just hitting a shortcut or clicking the button, besides it let me select the active camera to change parameters etc, without having to leave the view

what I'm doing in order of priority is 1: in case you have a standard camera selected, convert it to Fstorm, 2:in case you are in a perspective view, create an Fstorm camera from it, 3: in case you are in an orthographic view start an Fstorm camera creation, 4: in case you are in a camera view, it select the active camera

I'm working with some shoots now with multiples cameras and I have used it with no errors until now at least haha, but if you can see it or correct some mistake or redundancy on my part I will appreciate it

About Vray I think that from version 3.4 or 3.3, it's using standard cameras to render, and creation of vray cameras have been disabled. That's right? So the ctrl+C is working with it.

If you create cam from default renderer (not fstorm), be sure select fstorm renderer before convert.

FSConverter in quad menu doesn't work if renderer is not fstorm.

Maybe I'm getting this wrong, but you can create a FStorm Camera form view

Create and drag out the camera in your viewport and then hit Ctrl+C

This was done in Max 2016

An alternative, yes. Easier, not really.
