Well, just discovered this render and I am jumping onboard. Being in its infancy I am wondering if we all could compile a new list of tutorials here to use this and how to create materials. There's a lack of knowledge on the site and online since my search has come up small. I see potential in this render.

Well.. I searched google for how to make a metal material. Only 1 result in which needs tweaking. Any help?

Seems as though you are new to rendering, there is a lot to learn. Materials are more or less the same from engine to engine, you can find 'how to make xx material' then another render engine name in Google. You can download materials from other render engines on the net, then convert using fstorm. Experiment, practice, charge right in - that's how most people learn.

Ok. Thats what I thought. Im used to having premade materials and tweak them from there. But yeah... will learn from the fundamentals.

Ok guys, I cant seem to get the bump map to show. Its in the slot but no matter what parameters i put, it dont show bump.

Maybe one of you pros can just screen shot your brushed aluminum shader screen. I tried for 6 hours and its a no go. I can't get the swirly lines to appear. Im using a textire map of the lines made specifically for the illusion. But putting it in bump does nothing.

Thxs deC9r, ill check it out! I figured out my problem. Ive worked with 5 other engines and figured this one should be fairly easy to grasp. Well it is, my problem was fstorm 2.5 on my 940m gpu has a texture missing bug like another member reported. I fell back to 1.5 and ig works normaly.
