Error Code 127

I get an error code regarding a .dlr file in the plugins folder upon booting 3Ds Max, tried installing earlier versions (0.2.2-0.2.5) but nothing does the trick. I'm running Max 2016, and have a Quadro 2000D. is that the issue?
I'm hoping to try out FStorm as a possible replacement for V-Ray at my company.
